Executive function problems are common for many children, teens, and adults. They are not related to how smart you are or what you are capable of. Problems with executive functioning can have a negative impact on your learning, test performance, work performance, and relationships. Our clinicians specialize in working with children, teens, and adults with ADHD, learning disabilities or differences, and/or autism spectrum disorders (ASDs). Our coaching approach is grounded in cognitive-behavioral therapy theory and techniques and generally has a structured, active approach. We start with an in-depth understanding of your executive functioning strengths and weaknesses and the impact they have on your life. We will then work collaboratively to identify the goals that are important to you and to set up ways to reach those goals. Coaching services are particularly useful in working with the following concerns:

  • Time management
  • Planning and organizational skills
  • Effective learning and study strategies and techniques
  • Establishing healthy routines and habits
  • Prioritizing
  • Goal-setting
  • Decision-making
  • Problem-solving
  • Self-esteem and self-talk
  • Stress management
  • Anxiety
  • Determining next steps in career or education

The fee for these sessions is $185/session. Various scheduling and fee arrangements are also available, depending on the frequency of contact and expected length of service. For instance, shorter sessions held more than once a week, virtual/phone coaching sessions, or email reminders may be available at weekly or monthly rates. Different options will be discussed at the initial appointment. Services can be provided virtually or in-person. Book an appointment now.
